The Ides of March (2011, Ryan Gosling, George Clooney): Thumbs Up.
I didn't think I'd like this movie, but when you peel back the layers of govt. politics from it, it's a pretty decent one about the loss of innocence. Had fun watching the idealistic main character transform into a monster, shaped by the world he sought to try to help.
It's good, but I still have to take it a down a notch, since it's just a formulaic adaptation.
