Conan the Barbarian (2011, Jason Momoa): Thumbs Down!
I wonder if there was a ever a movie where the studio spent $90 million dollars on it, realized halfway through filming that they would totally fail, but continued anyways. If there ever was a movie like that ... it would start with 'Conan' and end with 'the Barbarian'.
There's so much more I want to say about this movie: like at what point do you decide to just stop and cut losses (both producing the movie or watching the movie); or why did they even use the Conan license, they completely did it wrong; or random battles - ok in RPGs, but like wtf in a movie?
It hurts so badly. I don't know of a worse movie that I've watched in years (ok, I do, Nick Cage in 'Knowing').
