Owlriffic fun with AdWords

I've been playing around with AdWords for a little bit during the past two days, more out of curiosity than anything else.

With a mere 12 cent bid, I managed to place over Yahoo in an ad placement war for the query term 'owl comics'. I was mildly amused, *evil grin* and all. I don't doubt the system though, since I obviously have real owl comics [shameless plug], while the Yahoo ad is just a pre-loaded query to their shopping site which shows a whopping 11 ad links and 3 watchmen related items on Amazon. For shame, when did Yahoo come to rely on arbitrage tactics anyways?

Anyways, I think it's pretty clear who will win out the war for owl comic ad turf ... Owl Shrine FTDUB.
