Kobato (the name of the heroine) is an otherworldly visitor of earth and is guided by a demonic, talking dog. Most folks like me will probably get a kick out of her naive approach to problem solving, being a complete stranger to human society and all.


Kobato natto nabe: lol, gross

I like the character design of Kobato, and this probably has a lot to do with being studio CLAMP's latest offering. We'll see how far the story can get without getting stale though, since 24 episodes is a long way to go.

Pros: An enjoyable show with a good pedigree.
Cons: CLAMP series tend have an inevitable lull later on ... I tried looking up Dobato in my pocket dictionary, but I couldn't find any translations.

Recommendation: Watch and hope.
