Kampfer Preview

I had a great time watching this show, and after a quick Google search, I discovered that the rest of the internet is ablaze about gender bending, seiyuu celebratory anime, Kampfer. Not quite breaking the fourth wall, but a lot of the lines in the first episode are pretty surprising/funny for seiyuu fans. I doubt the trend will continue since they probably just wanted to have some fun with their all-star cast.

Battle anime are usually bleh for me, but ones with this level of presentation are usually rare. The best parts so far come from the comedic implications of having characters transforming into their kampfer forms; side effects so far include complete personality or gender changes.

Recommendation: Wacky anime, do watch.
